Transition to Life with Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs
The Transition to Life Kingston participants had a great outing with Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs.
The group met at St Lawrence College to Kingston 4 Paws Service Dogs. The organization spent some time talking to the group about why they train service dogs, what commands they use, how these dogs are important to the community. The participants were given a chance to practice the commands they use with 3 dogs.
After working with the dogs, the group had a pot-luck picnic in the school cafeteria and everyone brought something. They had a great time eating and talking for hours! Check out some of the pictures, it looks like it was a lot of fun!
