IAC SOCIAL CLUB HONOUR ANDREW AT ANIME NORTH
The big day arrived and on May 26 we headed down to Toronto for the Anime North Convention – Andrew buttons and poster in tow. Now if you have never been to one of these conventions, you need to attend at least once to engage in the full experience! This is no small event…30,500 people attended this 3 day event and 4 hotels and the massive Toronto Congress Centre hosted a vast variety of events from Masquerade skits to retro and console gaming from wrestling shows to to panel discussions that offered topics such as Japan on a Budget, Cosplay Makeup Advanced to Gay Sex 101. Gameshows, The Moonlight Ball and Beyblade competitions added to the variety of activities…. and the list goes on! Something for everyone!
As I was told before we left – “Pat, you are entering a different world when you go to Anime – it is our world!” One thing for sure it was an amazing day in the Anime World and Andrew would have enjoyed each and every moment – as we did!
