The Spectrum Connection

Thursday, November 12, 2015 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Every Month until April 12, 2016

The Spectrum Connection is a group of young adults with Asperger Syndrome/HFA, aged 18-28, who get together monthly for a social outing. The number of participants varies but averages 8-10 people. Activities are chosen and sometimes organized by group members and have involved: bowling, supper out, beach outings, a pool party, mini-putt, go-carting, board game nights, and trips to Wasaga Beach, Canada’s Wonderland and Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto. Members often get together for additional social opportunities between outings.

Integrated Autism Consulting is available to support and facilitate but all individuals must be able to attend the event independently.

Check back regularly for the next exciting outing!

 A social club membership must be purchased to attend. Additional fees may apply for some events.

Junior Spectrum Connection

This new group is for teens 16-18 and will meet once a month for a social activity or outing.

Similar to The Spectrum Connection, which is a group of young adults with Asperger Syndrome/HFA, aged 18-28, , the Junior Spectrum Connection will be involved in activities in the Barrie are such as: bowling, supper out, beach outings, a pool party, mini-putt, go-carting, and board game nights.
