The Spectrum Connection

The Spectrum Connection is a group of young adults with Asperger Syndrome/HFA, aged 18-28, who get together monthly for a social outing. The number of participants varies but averages 8-10 people. Activities are chosen and sometimes organized by group members and have involved: bowling, supper out, beach outings, a pool party, mini-putt, go-carting, board game nights, and trips to Wasaga Beach, Canada’s Wonderland and Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto. Members often get together for additional social opportunities between outings.

Integrated Autism Consulting is available to support and facilitate but all individuals must be able to attend the event independently.

Check back regularly for the next exciting outing!

 A social club membership must be purchased to attend. Additional fees may apply for some events.  


April Event - Easter Crafts and Pancakes 

Where: at the IAC Centre - 45 Maple Ave, Barrie

When: Thursday, April 13th from 6:30 to 8:30

 Join your friends for pancakes and egg decorating at the centre to celebrate Easter and the spring season.
