New Program Prepare for Life: An Adaptive Life Skills Course

An individualized 12 week course for young adults with ASD that focuses on adaptive life and behavioural skills.

Participants will:

Understand the importance of personal appearance and hygiene
Increase knowledge of health, wellbeing and emergency and safety skills
Explore strategies for housekeeping, food and money management
Understand and investigate local transportation
Gain information on community resources

Imagine a Life
An Introductory Workshop for Parents

An interactive workshop designed for parents of young adults to explore strategies and resources to support successful transition experiences.

We wanted to extend a big thank you to all of those involved in the 3rd annual ‘ A Bat, a Ball and a Cause’ cricket match that was held in August. This fundraiser is dedicated to raising money for future Transition to Life programs.

Introducing…Jacob Wilson
Congratulations to Jacob on doing a great job speaking about his experience in the Transition to Life program at the ‘ A Bat, a Ball and a Cause’ cricket match. Jacob is a strong speaker and an outgoing individual. We wish him the best of luck with next steps!
